Booking & Staying
What time can I check in?
You can check-in between 2pm and 7pm.

You must check out by 11am.
What is your your cancellation policy?
More than 15 days in advance of your arrival date – full refund.
Between 7 & 15 days in advance of your arrival date – 50% refund.
Within 6 days of your arrival date – no refund.
Can I go straight to my pitch when I arrive at the campsite?
No – you must check-in at reception before pitching.
Do you close the gates?
Our entrance gates are closed from 10 pm to 7 am. Vehicles cannot enter or leave the campsite during this time.
Pitching
Will I be on the same pitch for the length of my stay?
Motorhomes and caravans – Yes.
Tents – if your stay is longer than 7 nights, you will be asked to move to prevent damage to the grass.

Can I request a specific pitch?
Yes – but you must do this at the time of booking. We will do our best to match this. This is more difficult when a booking is made less than one month in advance.
Can I pitch a tent beside my motorhome/caravan?
No – tents must be pitched on the camping terraces so you will need to also reserve a tent pitch.
Do you have tent pitches with electric hook-up?
At present, we do not. But we have a secure charging cabinet at the reception. It is £1 per device per charge.
Why am I given a different pitch when I arrive to the one on my booking confirmation?
Our system allocates pitches randomly when you book.
We make our final allocations on the day you arrive so this is likely to change.

We are travelling with friends - can we be pitched together?
Provided you let us know at the time of booking, this is usually possible. This is more difficult when a booking is made less than one month in advance.

Do you have fully serviced motorhome/caravan pitches?
Currently our motorhome/caravan pitches have electric hook-up only. There are water points throughout the site.
Can I have a pitch with a sea/water view?
We do not have any pitches with sea or water views.
Facilities
What disabled facilities do you have on site?
There is a disabled shower room and toilet and designated disabled parking spaces. Please let us know when booking if you need a pitch close to the facilities building.
What is the voltage on the electric hook-ups?
240V/230V 16A
Is there a laundry on site?
We have a washing machine (£7 cash) and a tumble dryer (£3 cash) for guest/resident use.
Are the showers/toilets available 24 hours a day?
Our showers and toilets are closed for cleaning every day between 11.30 am and 2 pm, they are open the rest of the time.
If I am in a tent, where can I charge my mobile phone?
We have a secure charging cabinet at the reception for our tent campers. It is £1 per device per charge.
Pets & Children
Can I bring my dog?
Yes – but your dog must be on a lead at all times when on site and you must clean up after it.

Do you have a minimum age for children on site?
No.
Health & Safety
Can we have a BBQ on site?
Yes but this must be raised off the ground and only on the hardstanding areas.
Where do I go if I need first aid?
You should go to the reception in the first instance. Our wardens all hold current first aid certificates.
Can we have a campfire?
Yes, you are more than welcome to use our campsite firepit. Wood and kindling for sale in our shop.
No portable firepits on tent terraces.
Motorcycling
Can we park the motorcycle by the tent or is there secure parking nearby?
Motorcycles can be parked by your tent but please remember to bring something to put under your stand for stability as our grass can be soft. Hard standing parking is also available on site which is monitored by CCTV.
Are there any shops and restaurants within easy walk?
There are shops, places to eat and bars within a 10-minute walk of the campsite.
If we have a problem with our motorcycles is there anywhere nearby that can help?
There are two local garages within walking distance of the campsite.
Are there any facilities for drying wet clothing and boots etc?
There is a drying room in the main facilities building.
Is there anywhere we can charge mobile/phones/computers?
There is a secure charging station in reception (available 8am to 8pm). There is a small cost of £1 per item per charge.
